Dear ACTG Colleague:

We invite you to attend the 2019 Annual AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) Network Meeting from Monday, June 17 to Friday, June 21 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott, Arlington, VA.

We will hold major sessions beginning the morning of Tuesday, June 18 through the morning of Friday, June 21. Please note that lodging for Sunday, June 16, is restricted and that you should not plan to check-in at the meeting hotel before Monday unless otherwise notified by the ACTG Travel Office.

Below is an overview of the meeting format. We are working towards finalizing the overall agenda and will have it available as soon as possible on the Meeting Info tab at the top of this page.

Once you have registered, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. If you do not register by Monday, May 27, we will be unable to provide you with meeting materials in advance.

Lodging:
Participants are responsible for arranging their own lodging. A limited number of sleeping rooms may be reserved at a special rate at the Crystal Gateway Marriott if you make arrangements prior to Monday, May 27, and reference the Brigham and Women's Hospital ACTG Network Meeting.

The special rate is $279.00 per night for single or double occupancy, plus 13.25% tax. These rates are offered only from Monday, June 17 through Thursday, June 20. There is no lodging available in the room block for Sunday, June 16 or Friday, June 21. You certainly have the option of reserving space at another hotel for those nights, although the agenda is structured such that US participants can arrive on Monday afternoon and depart on Friday afternoon.

In order to ensure adequate sleeping room availability, we request that you make your hotel reservations with the Crystal Gateway Marriott after your travel arrangements are finalized and that you do not reserve large numbers of sleeping rooms, unless it is certain that the rooms will be used. If ACTG meeting-rate sleeping rooms are reserved and subsequently canceled, the ACTG may incur a penalty.

Note that registering at the hotel does not automatically register you for the meeting.

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m., and check-out time is 12:00 noon.

The Cystal Gateway Marriott accepts all major credit cards.

Note that the Crystal Gateway Marriott offers free fitness facilities to all guests.


Long-Distance Travel:
Participants are responsible for arranging their own air/rail transportation into the Arlington, Virginia area. Three airports serve the Arlington, Virginia Metropolitan Area. If you are at a non-US CRS, please contact your Network Coordinating Center Site Specialist to confirm your schedule, prior to booking your travel.
